Ron | April 22, 2007 2:52PM Another really good capture of daily life. Well done.
If you happen to pass by Lisbon sometime, don't overlook the morning deliveries of marangoes and other fresh produce to the cafes. The vehicle used looks like a cross between a motor cycle (rear half) and an oversized shopping cart (front half). For real adventure try the deliveries by burro carts in Alfama. After the deliveries, the delivery boys sometimes race their carts (Ben Hur style) through the streets of Lisbon on their way home.
Your candid views of the lives of real people remind me of all the better things in life. Although it is a different bit of geography, the principle is the same. Thanks for letting me share these good people with you.

Maja| April 22, 2007 7:09PM Nice shot. I can't imagine all of it not tipping over at the slightest turn. I wonder how they manage.
the messenger | April 22, 2007 7:39PM I expect that in most of America, certainly in Canada, that were you to overload any type of vehicle as this machine is overloaded, you would likely be apprehended by the police and charged - as well as removed from the road. Even empty boxes like this would be a dangerous hazard.
But bravo to Kam for getting such a story telling image. People do what they must to survive.
Shahin | April 24, 2007 3:34AM Dude! You have become the master of panning!
