I took this picture a day after I bought my Nikon D50 while testing the Noise level on 1600 ISO but I found the result pretty impressive and I kind of liked the final image so I decided to post it.
Gavin| March 27, 2006 5:33PM Wow I didnt know you used a D50. I also use one & I love it, fantastic DSLR.
Great mystery behind this shot, the plastic bag on the railing really adds to this.
Fashion Police | March 28, 2006 3:32AM Your shots are really making me want to come and visit Oxfor Kamyar.
Hugh Petrie| March 28, 2006 10:22AM Nice to see a high iso shot just for that fact but this again shows the odd contrast of new building with old England's decaying side up front. I've made a number of comments which failed to get posted over time - thanks to the weird posting requirement of the code - and most touched on the decaying decrepit quality of many buildings - lots of character but a need for renewal.
tbone| March 28, 2006 5:23PM what kind of camera did you use before the nikon

Kamyar| March 28, 2006 5:49PM Yes Gavin D50 (kit) is my first DSLR and I love it too. It’s unbelievable value for money. I’m thinking about investing in a better lens (AF-S DX 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G) but the body is absolutely brilliant.
Thank you Fashion Police. I don’t think you will regret visiting Oxford as long as you don’t come in the winter.
I had a Nikon EL2 (SLR) for years tbone but my first digital camera which I bought few months before I started this Blog was only a compact Olympus C60. Almost all the pictures in this Blog posted before 23 December 2005 are taken with the Olympus.
