Fashion Police | May 21, 2006 4:28AM That looks very spooky.
Leyli| May 21, 2006 7:02AM I'm enjoing your weblog a lot and have given the adress to all my europian friends who would eventually like to visit Iran (but maybe intimidated by the things they hear on media). I guess there was nothing better than these photoes to show them in order to give a realistic and at the same time artistic image.
I feel proud when I see these shots...and I don't exactly know why.
I am also enjoing all the discussions between different nations among the comments, and love the way this way of communication hopefully redefines our prejudices.
I must also confess that I've learned so much about iranian culture reading things hear, things which as an iranian I should have known before, but just now, living abraod has made me understand exactly why....
Thank u Kamyar, and in general Adl family (Shirin and her brother in law) ;-)
Hugh Petrie| May 21, 2006 9:20AM If the mask is due to pollution rather than trying to prevent a personal infection from spreading then it doesn't say much positive for the state of Iran. But perhaps better this pollution than Atomic fallout from a nuclear war.
Kamyar| May 21, 2006 12:35PM Hi Leyli
I’m so glad you left another comment on here so I can reply to you. The thing is I noticed your other comment about seeing me in the street, some days after you had left it and by then it was too late to reply to you and for some reason when I clicked on your name, it wouldn’t take me to your blog.
Anyway I just wanted to say thank you for your other comment and also this one. I’m glad you like these pictures and delighted to hear that in your view they are helping to show a realistic image of Iran.
