Sam| May 19, 2006 12:37AM absolutely fantastic. and one question, why is that door so high above the ground level?
Hugh Petrie| May 19, 2006 7:58AM What a strange and striking image. The old man against intense red and tired old background in need of cleaning and paint. An example of the struggle we have over time and wear. Whether simple buildings like this or extravegant ones there's the constant need for upkeep that few can really manage.

still enjoying the photos kamyar...and looking forward to new oxford ones, too, as i'm missing england a little bit.
Kamyar| May 19, 2006 1:49PM Thank you Sam, I don’t really know why it’s so high, it looked really strange to me too.
Kamyar| May 19, 2006 2:03PM Thanks Amanda, I really miss taking pictures here in Oxford too but the weather has been absolutely terrible since we’ve been back and I’ve had to work almost everyday because of the new Mini coming out. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will have a chance for some proper photo shooting.
