When I lived in Oxford I played in a band. I bought an amplifier to use while I was there. Toward the end of my time there I did some traveling so I left the amp at the Music Box in the hopes it could be sold on consignment. When I got back, no one had bought it, but it was time for me to leave. The Music Box guy felt bad (or said he did) and gave me a t-shirt. I rationalize it by telling myself that I got my money's worth from the amp anyway, but the t-shirt still reminds me of that and many other wasteful mistakes I made during that time in my life.
