All I can say is carry your Camera with you all the time and try to find what really interests you and see if you can find your own unique style. If you need any technical information luckily there are 100s of forums and websites like 'daily dose of imagery' forum (http://www.topleftpixel.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2) on the internet.
I’m sorry if I can’t give you any more advice. After all we are not that much different. I’ve got a lot to learn too.
