In Canada the bike is called "recumbant" for the layed down position. Easy to peddle and very fast - to 60 mpm easily they say. Rather low in the traffic though. Needs a flag like most who use them here so you can be noticed - if you're lucky.

And yes, the blue fence goes nicely with his light blue shirt. Uh? Where's the fashion police?

Very nice panning shot with a very interesting subject. I have seen these things in Edmonton, AB, but for some reason I always thought they are made for the disabled :D
